2014 Memorable Anniversary Year...
In 2014 the world will mark the 100th anniversary of the outbreak of the First World War, a war classed as the 'Great War' where over 9 million soldiers died as a result of the fighting.
It will also mark the 70th anniversary of D-Day and the Battle of Normandy key battles that opened up the second front on the mainland of Europe.
2014 also marks the 25th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall and with it the end to The Cold War, you can join our tour as we look at Germany and Berlin before and after The Cold War.
We have a selection of tours commemorating some of the significant campaigns and battles from World War One, 100 years on and World War Two, 70 years on. Including a special 100th Anniversary tour in Ypres and a D-Day 70th Anniversary Cruise.
Our range of tours will appeal to anybody who has an interest in the events of war. To help you get the most from your experience all tours are led by a Specialist Battlefields Guide who will bring the events of battles to life with stories of great human sacrifice and bravery. Only by seeing it all for yourself can you ever really understand the depths of the sacrifices made and the heroism involved in these events.
And finally, don’t forget that our luxury Silver Service coaches offer a higher level of comfort for a small extra cost: such good value that the majority of our guests choose it. We look forward to the pleasure of your company.
